Black and Gold Gallery Wall

BLACK AND GOLD...Enough said...
My sister wanted some verses to display in an office and she gave me the black and white inspiration. So I did a pinterest search of black, white and gold prints. The very first thing that caught my eye were the diamonds.
I LOVE the colors!!
From there all the ideas came to me.  I love the way each print turned out.  The mixture of rustic, formal, and colors works very well together I think.  The preview below is not to scale but it gives an idea of what a gallery wall display might look like with all the prints together.  The programs used to create the designs were Photoshop Elements and Print Shop 3 for mac.  I also used Pixel Scrapper to download background paper and templates so I could create my own paper etc.

There is also a PDF file with the downloads that includes every letter of the alphabet.  The font used in the PDF is Lucida Calligraphy.

Download all the prints from Google Drive.
The arrow print is not included because I found them on Over The Big Moon.  You can print them in either an 8x10in. or 5x7in. size.   Link to Gold Arrows

5th Grade Engage New York Math

Fifth grade math. Seventy plus students a day.

My happy place.

Module 1 of Engage New York math is finally posted. Each topic is available separately as well but I bundled the entire module at a reduced price.

Eventually all the modules for 5th grade math will be completed. I want to use each lesson before I post it to ensure there are no mistakes. After teaching the lesson, it is easier to make sure the SMART presentation is user friendly.

Engage New York Math Grade 5

I love Engage New York Math! After searching all summer and even purchasing some SMART board lessons, I decided to take the extra time to create my own lessons. The lessons I found were pretty good but just didn't have all the information I was used to when I taught 3rd grade. One of me team members found some AWESOME lessons made by Marsha McGill. Check them out on Teachers Pay Teachers. Anyway...she set the bar so high with her SMART board lessons that it was hard to get used to something else. It's painstakingly slow to create them at 1-2 hours per lesson.
So for now I am creating as I go through Module 1. Topic A is finished and available in my tpt store.

A few slides from lesson 2 are shown below.

At this rate, I should post new lessons every weekend.  Hopefully at some point I will be able to work ahead.
