Houghton Mifflin Journeys Spelling

I finally completed all the spelling bundles to accompany the Houghton Mifflin Journeys Series.  Included for each lesson are 16 cards.  Lesson 1-30 are now complete.  In each unit there are also customizable cards so you can type your own words.

Valentine Paper Pack

This is a free digital paper pack I created using the idraw program.  It was fun because I drew the lines and hearts on my iPad and then transferred them to my computer.  All that was left was changing the colors.  :)
Check back soon!  I am creating a new pack with photoshop for this year!  Can wait to share it with you!

Quilting with Patricia Polacco

I just love Patricia Polacco!  There is a great video clip of her talking to an elementary class about quilts that just warms my heart every time!  So...I created a little packet for use with any quilt unit.  Students will each create a paper quilt block.  There are so many things you can connect quilting to and it's just downright fun!

New Year's Resolutions

My students loved the New Year's Resolutions.  The bunting turned out pretty cute.  The dull colors kind of blended in with our gray walls at the school but...oh well.  :)

Happy New Year Bunting

This ia a fun bunting hall display for students to write New Year's Resolutions or goals on. Three different banner styles are included along with 2014 and 2015 headers. There is also a cute Happy New Year bunting for the hallway. The file is available in my tpt store.

Stay tuned for free buntings, frames, and digital paper to match! :)

Winter Paper

In December I made some digital winter paper.  Creating paper is one of my favorite hobbies.  :)  It's free in my tpt store.  My goal is to make a new set each month.

Marzano's Nine Instructional Strategies

Download File

Over the Holidays, I learned more about using Photoshop Elements.  My first attempt at creating a file in Photoshop is now complete.  Yay!  My school district emphasizes that teachers incorporate Marzano's Nine into daily lessons.  In an effort to keep these strategies upfront in my mind, I created posters to display in my classroom.  I printed four posters to a page and hung them on a ribbon.
Feel free to download a free copy in my tpt store.  Sorry the file is so huge.  I haven't figured out how to make it smaller yet.  :)  Happy New Year!
